A former Assistant District Attorney and Commonwealth Attorney, Maria has served in the Departments of Health and State, and presided over hundreds of cases as a hearing examiner, including for the Department of Corrections.

Maria is widely respected for her strong legal mind and genuine compassion. She has shared her expertise as a presenter for continuing legal education courses on mediation, appellate advocacy, and health care law, helping to educate and inspire the next generation of legal professionals.
